Default Duplicolor Example

Has anybody Painted their Stockies Black with a Clear coat over that using Duplicolor?

Do you have pictures of the results?

How about Painting them Graphite, has anybody painted them graphite?
Pictures?

I'm between these two colors... and can't decide what would look better.

Thanks for any help!

i painted my front wheels black... havent had time to paint the rears, but they came out good.
sanded down the wheel with 3 different grain sand paper, then primered, then sanded down the primer, then 4 coats of semi-gloss black and 2 coats of clear

did you use the duplicolor black? that looks flat to me? If i were to put the clear coat over it, it would be glossy, correct? How would the shine compare to a regular gloss paint?

They will be glossy with the clear coat. The tires will be all dull.

Indeed. I've looked at that. I just want it to look great when I finish. I don't want it to be something I regret =/... i guess thanks everyone.

it might be a little hard to tell, but it's shiny in the sun.

if you want it to look good... preparation of the rim is the most important part, and another important thing is use light and even coats of black, you dont wanna put too much paint on at once. lol took me 6 hours to do 2 rims, and I nearly broke my back sanding, but the result was worth it...
