Sarcasm? I wasn't being sarcastic, I was being totally serious. You're wasting your money on all-seasons, it's March, don't know how much snow you're getting this time of year but it's starting to settle down here on the east coast.

I would buy dedicated summer tires, and when winter comes and you've saved up some money, buy a set of 15" steelies or crappy low-end alloy rims and a set of dedicated winter tires. Your traction will thank me.

And you'll thank yourself when you don't wreck your car when it snows. All-seasons in the snow are just as bad as summer tires in the snow, the tread-blocks aren't correct.

excuse me for a second... BULLSH!T.

tell me why the hell tire manufacturers invest thousands upon thousands of dollars so that their tires WORK in the snow?

hmm...an all season tire....and its only 2 points behind a winter tire? wow....all seasons really must work afterall.

o but wait i forgot, you know more than tirerack and all the tire manufacturers do. you're the ultimate world authority when it comes to tires. so i guess all seasons are just as bad as summer tires in the snow. get a life.

YEAH.. BUT summer tire is the best during the rest of the seasons just like the snow tire during the winter and in the rest of the season the winter and all season is worst than the summer tire just like the summer tire in the winter.

i think there will be only 1-2 ppl whos gonna understand this crap:D:D:D: sorry.

aight CSO (and also otocan octagon whatever the hell your name is)...here's the point...HE'S BUYING ONE SET OF TIRES, NOT TWO.

the point that is being made is that all-seasons are better in the snow than summer tires are. period. finish. over. done. end of discussion. i'm gonna shut up, how bout everyone else who wants to dispute that point shuts up too.

neogens are very nice tires..especially if you have a drop. lemme know how the dezods are...ive got a set of fronts sitting in my garage right now. i dono if i should get the rears or not...i mean...i know i should...but my rear pads have 50% left still whereas my fronts are worn. id rather wear em down first....

yea the neogens have a nice tread pattern too, thats basically what helped me pick it, they are flashier then the falkens, and for only a few $$ more i opted for them... plus out of the people that commented on them they got 5/5 stars whereas the falkens got 3.5/5
=/

just got my BFG G-FOrce KDWs mounted on konig tuner 2's. They look awesome. can't wait to get them on the car.

i was looking for the same things in a tire that you [OP] are, and i wanted a high performance summer tire than wouldn't slip in wet weather..... SO i went with the BFG's. a little pricier, but the quality is better than the Falkens. falkens are great tire for the price, but spend a bit more, and you can get a much better tire.

Call Tom at Discount Tire Direct (1 800 589 6789, X43 and tell him you talked to Pat with the scion tc.
He may give you a good deal on the BFG KDW's. I got em for 122/each.

OMG.. who told u that? fk452 is the same quality with better tire wear, less noise, better ride comfort.

dude, we've already had this convo. i understand that YOU HAVE FK452's and like them. Please understand that this makes you BIASED.

i compiled [independent] research from multiple tire websites and practically everyone single one said:
1) the fk452s are a LUXURY tire...not a PERFORMANCE tire

2)Tire wear, noise and ride comfort were not my top 3 factors in buying a tire. if they were, then yeah, i may have gotten the fk452s. Those are qualities you look for in a LUXURY tire. I want a PERFORMANCE SUMMER tire. (which also performs great in the rain)

i'm not knocking falkens or specifically the 452s, i just wanted a little better performing tire, thats all.

and just quickly checking your prof, i see you are running 512s. Do u even run the 452s? if not, then how are you so sure about their quality??? they are a relatively NEW tire, so there couldn't be that much independent driver feedback/reviews on them yet.....
