Default A few question on Axis Hiros and tires...

Ok, so I'm gonna try and get these wheels over the summer but I had a few questions:

1. Where's the best place to get the Hiros? I couldn't find them on Wheel Max or Tire Rack so... are there any other wheel/tire online sellers or will I need to buy the wheels somewhere else and get my tires from one of the above?

2. I want them in 18" but I've seen people running 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the back (I think that's what I saw)... is it better to do so? (I'm somewhere between a wheel newbie and amateur, so bear with me )

3. From all of you who have been trying all the tires... what're the best summer tires for this wheel size?

Thanks guys.

there's no need for bigger rims in the rear. I wouldnt even run 8.5 in the back, but thats just me? 225/40 will probally be the best depending on the drop.

So why does Wheel Max think that these wheels won't fit my car ?

Oh, and dropped on S-Techs, just to ask, would 19" even fit? If so, what tire size?

And one last thing, I like to take the car to the track so can anyone recommend some inexpensive, light, alloy track wheels and a good track tire? Thanks.

not too sure on why they say it wont fit?

stechs + 19's will need to be a small tire. I say just stick with the 18's.

here's "datrickster24" tC with 18" hiros....

I love those rims, especially on a FM tC. I heard that they rub a little, any truth to this? And if so, any way to prevent them from rubbing?
