I am looking at getting some 16" x 8" rims for autocrossing. I want to mount some r compound tires to them for when I hit the track. The rims I am looking at are the 16x8 Rota Slipstreams with a 48mm offset. Does anyone know if these will work on the tC? Thanks.

While that is an option, I would rather not have to pay for shipping, shipping back if the rims don't fit, restocking fees, and another shipping charge for rims that fit.
I just wanted to see if anyone had tested these rims out on their cars so that I could be sure they fit before I order them.

tony if you want to keep the stock depth of the wheel go with a
stock will sit approximately 43.9mm from the hub if you want the 8" wide to stick the same distance you need an offset of 57.7 mm. while this is not possible keep in mind having a offset of 48mm will stick the wheel out approximately 10mm further towards the outside of your car from your stock split 6 spoke wheel, not sure about the enkei wheels you have but i can look it up. SO if you really want to see take a piece of cardboard and cut it so its 10mm wide (1/2") then put it on your stock wheel (split 6) and see if you have any clearance issues. that should answer your questions.
