Default GoodYear Eagle Authority

I have a Scion TC, 2008 17 inch wheel. I am in the market for new tires and I was dead set in buying GoodYear Eagle GT, till I saw the GoodYear Eagle Authority at Walmart ... there is not much information about this tires other then the fact this is similar to the GT tires but with a different thread pattern and branded exclusive for Walmart and cheaper price then the GT. Does anyone have any experience with this tires. Also, is there any other tire you would recommend. I am in Cleveland, OH where the weather tends to get a little bit rough in Winter.

eagle gt's are good tires, performance on dry is great! but im really impressed with the wet performance. For winter, well they can only do so much...an inch of snow or two your good, but more than it gets scary. I have no experience with the tires they sell at walmart, i tried to search but info about those are slim to non existent.

I like them ... they perform good ... they seem smother ... I can hit 95 without even realizing. They are definitely very good in rain. I can zip confidently. I am looking forward to seeing how they do in snow.
