Help with future suspension upgrade PLEASE????
Ok guys I want to do an upgrade on my suspension after I finish my audio setup project.
I want rims, sway bar, and lowering springs. But I am a newbie with all of this stuff so I have some questions. I understand how everything works but just curious about some things. First off I plan to get some 19 x 8" Konig Troubles in Graphite Finish for my FM tC. These sexy beasts...

So I am wondering what size tires ya'll think I should go with (hear alot of people having Falkens, leaning towards those) and also what springs. I am leaning towards the Tein H techs because they are not as severe of a drop and would have no trouble with rubbing I hope
. And while I am at it I plan to get a rear sway bar probably the TRD. So just needed everyones opinion on everything... Rims, Tires, Springs, Sway bar, everything you can help me with would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks Cory.

Well for me I have Eibach Pro-kit (Sportline version were look way too low) which lowered it approx 1.4-1.5 inches after it settled. http://www.raceinspired.com/ps-2146-...iliateid=10061
IMO it was a perfect drop w/o looking to low to where the tires look like the tires go into the wheel wells and the ride quality is outstanding! I was surprised, it's very smooth, and not jarring on small bumps and cracks on the freeway.
I would suggest calling them with questions you might have.. I did. (951.256.8300)
Since some people have sagging problems with aftermarket I decided to call them about it and how they do their testing. They told me they use multiple loaned tC's to do different setup options to choose which is best. I figured since they are a large company the would have the funds to put into R&D right?
I WOULD DEFINETLY DO THE SUSPENSION FIRST! The new springs get ride of a lot of the body roll w/ new sways. And you know the the stock susp. is way to soft around corners!!
I wouldn't do just the front with TRD's. If your going to have the springs installed anyways just go all out and do front and rear sway bars.
I have Hotchkiss sways for front and rear and they have adjustible points for firmness. ( Mine is set all the way for firmness and is feels like there is a perfect balance when it comes to under/oversteer. http://www.sciongarage.com/product.php?productid=25
I hope this helps!
BTW Eibach makes TRD springs for Toyota, just to TRD specs though (softer and not as low) as per my call to Eibach

the H-Tech's would look nice on a car w/ 19's. as for sways, i know that alot of this is a popularity vote seeing as poeple say what they have, but i'd go for the hotchkis front and rear sways. i've driven my car and a friends car hard. mine w/ hotchkis f/r and his with the trd rear. My car has better initial turn in. When pushed to the limit, his car likes to oversteer, mine will tend to understeer and push out of the corner.
