I've looked ALL OVER for gold mesh wheels, 17" or bigger in diameter, and 7.5" or bigger in width (8" preferred). I'm likely getting an Audi A4 next week, nothing's written in stone, but it's VERY likely. It's white, and I want some gold mesh wheels to put on this beast. However, I can't find ANYTHING in 5x112. I can't even find a wheel I like period!

So I am investing in the help of ScionLife, who has never failed me (ok that's a lie)! If you can find me something, or have ANY websites with a vast amount of wheels on it, let me know!

The tC was my car for 2 years. I consider that somewhat steady.

I've looked at everything under the sun. I started with a 2008 tC, then looked into a Lancer GTS, then an 07 GTI (I was one step away from driving this off the lot), then a 128i, then an FJ Cruiser, and now at an Audi A4. I looked at a Volvo C30 today, it was amazing, but it had a ton of stuff tacked onto it that raised the price from a MSRP of 25k to 32. The new Malibus are very cool, but the one on the commerical is the LT2, which starts at $28k, too much on my budget. The base LT is butt. I looked at used BMWs, none of which had a 5/6 speed.

This Audi is a 6 speed, Quattro, 2.0T. I love it.

just wait... they are the least reliable pieces of junk... and that was told to me by a performance shop catered to em.

 

We'll see, but i'm doubting it. I have heard of no such stories on VWvortex, Edmunds, IGN, or any of the other obscure sources I came across. I know of the FSI engine's tendency to consume oil faster, and the diverter valve is known to pre-maturely fail, but otherwise I have heard of nothing.

Anyways... wheels? I looked at the SSRs, but I can't find 5x112.

My advice would be to order wheels from Raderwerks, and have the barrels professionally
painted. It'd cost a hell of a lot less than those HREs, which are way overpriced, even
for a custom wheel.
