Default HELP PICK MY RIMS!

I was talking to my mom today and mentioned wanting rims for my car. She told me that she would buy me rims for my birthday and Christmas and I could get them now. YAHOO! So now I need help picking my rims.

Here's the rules for helping me pick...

1. Has to be $200 or less a rim (can go over a little
2. Has to be black with chrome or polished lip
3. Has to be staggered
4. Has to be at least 18"
5. Has to look good!

Below is a link and pic of one that I'm looking at. Oh, also I'll have my kaminari kit on so that should help to find the right look/size. I really like rims like the one below which is like what you see on a lot of 350z and G35's.

I wasn't a big fan of that either. I've been down the road of doing everything right and building my 05 engine and turbo. Now with my 08 it's all about looks. I'm still going to stay within the unwritten "rules" but this is the only one i'm gonna break cuz it looks ****.

LOL I thought about that but money still tight until I sell the '05 tc. I never said it had to be 5 spoke, I just picked one that I liked that happened to be 5.

Also I was thinking it don't have to be staggered just as long as it has a nice deep dish (big lip).

Told you I don't want to spend that kind of money. Besides, it's got a black inner lip.

Good luck getting any REAL suggestions for wheels that are not Iforged, Works or some other big name, high priced "baller wheels."

Nobody seems to see anything that costs less than 4 or 500 a wheel. In all truth though, you MAY need to push it up just a tab above $200 a wheel if you want staggered fitments and stuff.

i really like hp evo's but i've been seeing hp racing wheels really take a fall off as of late, i don't really know what to suggest, when you are looking for a nice big lip its hard to suggest something adiquit because all the wheels that are like you want are really brittle such as xxr, hp, pretty much anything, enkei's would be good but they don't have lips. axis has some wheels with big lips but i really don't like any of their styles. either way, hit me up on aim if you wanna talk more in detail

Your saying that your money is tight so you're asking your mom to buy your wheels for you?

Wow.

Do you need wheels that badly? And who's buying the tires?

I didn't ask her, she asked me and they are a bday/christmas present. I'd never ask her to buy them for me. She knows how much I love modding my car and since the last car I haven't had the chance to do things up.

As for the tires I have to buy them, that's why I don't want to have to pay much more over $200 a rim cuz I'll have to put money into them.

If I can get my engine for my other car for the price I'm hoping then I should be good to free up some dough.(long story if you don't know it.lol)
