If anyone has powder coated their stock rims (just black nothing unordinary), how much did it cost?

Not 100% sure on our 17's, but I had some 9inch rear and 10inch front wheels off my quad and it was going to cost like $200 to have them pc'd.

For the price you will pay (unless you know someone) for PCing the stockers, you could put that money together with selling your stocks for a couple hundred bucks and buying some better looking aftermarket 17's and use your existing tires. Edgeracing is selling the Flik Arctics right now for $80/peice. Getting a set tomorrow.

if you just want Mat black, go buy some paint, tape off your tires, and DIY. save a buck or two

i've looked into it down south and its about 50 per rim. However, you have to have the tires taken off and then put back on so depending on where you go thats an extra $140-$180. For my case it was about 350 and not using my car for a few days. Not worth it for me

looked into in in Indiana and one place quoted 80 a wheel and another place 50. That was for flat black. The only setback is not having a car for a few days and taking off the tires and all that. Plus resale also came to mind. May be harder to sell.

OUCH places around here only charge $10-$25 to dismount AND mount a tire, i would just let them know whats going on, or, if you know someone who works at a shop w/ a tire machine it could be done for free.

im sure they wouldnt really notice the flat black powder coat, and having them powder coated instead of painted is a plus. it u decided to do like purple or orange it would be hard to sell, but not black

I bought mine already PC'ed. The person I bought them from said she paid $50 a wheel.

I think they turned out OK. And for $200 I don't think it's a bad look.

im not sure about that, unless u wanted another set of 17s and just change ur tires over. i was thinking about getting 18s, or 19s, and tires alone cost $500 - $900
