When my original tires wear out (before next winter) I'm going to get a set of BFGoodrich Traction TA. If I still have the stock steelies then, I'll get the 195/60-15s, but they come in lots of different sizes.

General Exclaim UHP probably best bang for your buck. Tirerack.com Or if you want a set of used Kumho Ecsta ASX well used, I'll sell ya mine and get me some Generals.

Also this tire is the lightest one i've been able to find. About 5 lbs lighter than stock. This should improve acceleration and braking.[/img]

Get the Avon Tech M550 A/S tires - they're the best ultra-high-performance all-seasons. Great for wet weather. It's what I rock.

I have Goodyear Eagle F1s, but I'm in San Diego, Cal. So I don't know if they're snow tires--I'll leave that research up to you.

I'm pretty sure those are just Max Performance... not recommended for All Season.

The Pirelli PZero Nero M/S are good all seasons too. They come OEM on the RS1 and have really good ratings on TireRack and such.

Try the Nitto NT450. I just upgraded from stock (I have the 15" alloys) to a 205/55/15. Same diameter as stock with about 3/4" increase in width. Plus the unidirectional v-groove tread helps handling. Especially when wet. Also mud & snow rated. Cost was reasonable. About $450.00 installed from a local tire shop. Should cost less if bought on line.

And those 205s fit on the factory alloys? I thought the factory alloys were 5.5" wide, just like the steelies. That seems like a bit of a stretch, or squeeze. Can you post pics?

BFGoodrich® g-Force T/A KDW 215/45R17

They are $137 each mounted and installed at costco.

Deff great dry wet traction performance tires.
