i was wondering how much longer the studs are on the ichiba wheel spacers...

with the 5mm spacers are the studs 5mm longer?

so 15mm longer with the 15mm spacers, 20mm longer with the 20mm spacers and so on and so forth?

 

i think so, i think with 25mm and up they have the studs built in.

i was just curious if they all had the same length extended stud or what and if i'd have to run open ended lug nuts or not

 

i guess if you got 20mm exteded lugs you could run any spacer under that with open ended lugs, but id just get the right size and go with those red rays

ok...i found out that for the 5mm spacers, the studs are 35mm long, which i believe is stock length

for 10mm and 15mm spacers, the studs are 45mm

 

i know that the studs i have for my ichiba spacers are 15mm longer (i have 15mm spacers.)

yea... they fit like stock once the spacer is installed. i have rays extended lugs ...

 

if you a get a 5mm spacer...you don't need extend lugs..I'm running them w/o extend lugs.

 

i wouldnt do that for long man... the spacers take away 5mm of your studs and that means your lugs have 5mm less to grab on to. they make them certain lengths for a reason man. i would throw those ex studs in there to play it safe.

 

5mm is not that much...the rule of thumb is that if you can get 6 turns on your studs...you are fine this is from van at one ton garage and others....

 

eh i still wouldnt put that against toyotas engineering. they made the studs that length for a reason.

 

Trust me its ok....I have done my research ...I have gotten crazy on my suspension with the spacers on your going to be fine...

 

i believe toyota stud length is 35mm so it wouldnt matter with the 5mm spacers anyways

 

i would just play it safe, just my opinion tho. i dont like messing with stuff like that.
