I want to probably do the 18x7.5 with a 225 tire how does that sound? I would really like to see a pic with the wheels on a tC to get a better picture.. Thanks!

225/XX/18 will work with those rims. I believe those rims look similar to BBS RS-GT's

no drop yet and its super white... only had the car for 3 months now its an 07 and the modding is about to begin... I want to go with full Tein Coilovers

That color is hawt! I have 5Zigen RX6s in Hyper Black and love the color! Sometimes they look silver and sometimes they look grey. Would definitely look really clean on your SW. If you need pix of the RX6s on my 'o5 SSM, let me know.

^^TRUST ME; I'm very picky about wheels. If I didn't have 2 sets or rims right now (and 1 of them kind of looks like the Sport Engine except in Anthracite) for my tC, I would DEFINITELY be rockin' the Sport Engines!!


Just be careful. The lip you see in the pic may not be as wide on an 18" rim. Sites use 20"+ in their pictures because those size rims have phat lips.

 

Keep in mind that the ones for the tC will NOT have that much lip. With the width and off set and that slight amount of curve in the bars you will most likely have a 1.5 inch lip not the 4 like the ones in the picture lol

I'm debating getting the 5zigen Sport Engine Hyperblack for my BSP...Do you guys think it will be too dark? I don't want the black gloss as it's been done before.

 

look pretty koo by themselves, but i always thought mesh wheels look kinda awkward for the tc's lines. take pics after you get them though, share your pride and joy.

 

hyper black will not be too dark, there is no black in it, its actually silver. the name is misleading, hyper black is similar to an oiled down silver polish.

Not quite. The front is silver while the back is black.

That's why you can't see anything where the caliper is. (Because its black.) Either way they will look awfully good! I'm jealous.

oooo, except for this one foo with volk sf winnings on his tc... i saw those in person, and my god were they gorgeous, but then he had the pseudo-m3 body kit, so maybe that changed the form of the tc a bit...

 

I know someone that has hyper black, wheels.. Si milar to an oiled down finish IMO. Where light hits it its silver, but where there is no light it turns kind of a dark gunmetal. never fully black imo

but maybe the 5zigen are finished differently, maybe the 5zigens dont finish the innner portions of the rim with hyperblack?
