ISO your opinion Winter Tires
2006 Scion tC 126k miles no mods
I had Blizzaks in the Blizzard of 2010. I'm from Pittsburgh and we got 23" of snow overnight and I didn't get stuck on my 20 mile trek to home. Blizzaks were awesome and only lost traction when I had e-Brake pulled and regained traction as soon as e-Brake released.
Bridgestone Blizzaks $413 set of 4
Continental ExtremeWinterContacts $372 set of 4
Firestone Winterforce $344 set of 4
Firestones have option of being studded
205/60/15 size for all 3
Pros and cons of each tire from personal experience please
I know it's asking alot but it could go a long way in helping others with winter tire concerns also.
P.S. I wouldn't refuse your experience with any winter tire though...General Altimax Arctic, Dunlop Graspic, Michelin X-Ice, etc...

snowies
Here in Minnesota ya gotta luv snowies. Blizzaks on my '06 xb and then yokahama's. Thinking of getting some general's next time. The blocked type treads of blizzaks and Yokahamas make the xb a little skittish in slushy conditions. That's my .02

I own blizzaks... had em for 4 years now and just this last spring did one tire take a ____. I spent 4 winters on ice and deep a$$ snow here in SW michigan. I love my bridgestones. best tire ever owned.
It's a good feeling driving past people stuck in the snow.
