what are the lightest wheels for the tC that will actually fit?

not sure, they are somewhere in the area of like 16-19 pounds.

can't remember, somewhere around 19-24 pounds, they really aren't that heavy.

i'd say something from Ray's Wheels or the fdnr 5-zigens. I work at discount tire and they are some of the lightest wheels, Eneki also makes a 6 spoke wheel that alot of scca cars like the AMS evo use but i cant think of the name right now... But the stock wheels actually weight arounf 24 each. i high quality light weight rim should weight 9-14lbs from 16''-18''

Pretty lightweight imo, they weigh less then or just about the same as the stocks.

I personally like the look, and after this monday they will match my car incredibly even more.

They are cheap too.

 

i like the FN01R-C's, but the flat face seems wierd to me. my friend has them on his mr2, staggered fitment and the rear concave wheels look sexy

 

A FN01R-C wheel 17X7 should be right about 16 lbs(15X7 = 14lbs, 16X7 = 15lbs).
A the FN01R-C 17X8 should be another 1/2 pound(roughly) over the 17X7 = so 16.5- almost 17 ish lbs.

You want light ????
How about a 17X7 SSR Type-C wheel = approx. 13 lbs (a 16X7 wheel weights 11lbs, and a 15X7 wheel weights 9 lbs). I know it comes in Black, Bronze, maybe still white in color- should be +42 offset.
Its will cost you though... about 425-450 per wheel !

Those are decent @ about $300 ea. , but if it was me laying down the cold hard cash- I'd bit the bullet and go SSR (better quality construction + about 1 lb lighter + in terms of possible resell value later= you'll definitly get a bunch more interested parties wanting to buy your wheels)

 

Volk TE37's are light too......
