I had some different Motegis on my xA and thought they were awsome. The 15" Montegi Tracklites weigh 10 lbs!

 

My drag wheels only 10 lbs each. TE37 15X8 +22mm

 

Yes, TE37's are very light/forged , but I thought we were talking about a 17" wheel here ?? A TE37 , and a SSR Type-C are very comproable in weight. Actually, a Type-C in a 15" size( X 6.5 or 7 ) is approx. 1/2 pound lighter then TE37. Otherwise, the two wheels are very-very similar in weight(with in prob. 2-3 ounces of each other) when your talking 16"+. The only kicker is I believe the TE37 does cost slightly more then the Type-C, by $50+ per wheel.

 

Probably. Those 15's were $350 per wheel. The Volks are a true forged monoblock. I think the SSR's use semi-solid forging which is not quite as strong.

 

if u got the money, go for the Volk TE37's, if not, go for the 5Zigen's or the Enkei RPF1's

True on the SSR's ... for a daily driver they should be more then good enough - not so sure about tracking them though ?? Don't forget about Buddy-Club P1 QF wheels - a true forged wheel - but they are approx. 1 pound heavier then a TE37. Volk has had several awesome wheels , too bad they have discontinued several in the last 3-4 years

Enkei Racing Series RS-M 17x8 = 15.5lbs

they are what i would get on a tC if i was going light weight

these wheels are very light, id say maybe 16.8 lbs or 17 lbs and they are brand new too.

i need these gone ASAP too

 

I have Sek- tor Forged wheels, the ultimate in super lightweight high performance track wheels. They weight 17lb cost $400.00 ea + tax +shipping

 

SSR COMPS .... 17 INCH = 12=13 LBS...

side note..

alot of money does not = leight wheels...there are plenty of affordable wheels under 17 lbs...

i have these .... 18's i think they weigh about 17 pounds mainly tire weight though but really nice wheels

they are 150 each and weigh under 17 lbs. and im selling them for 550 shipped!

 

you can fit 15s on the tC with stock brakes
