Default Lowering My 2009 Scion Tc TRD

I have nitto extreme nt555 225 40zr 18 92w tires on my car. I was wondering what is the lowest I can lower my car without it rubbing? Also what would be the best springs to get?

What??? Is your car the Release Series 5.0[TRD Release Series]? If it is, it already has TRD lowering springs. Get coilovers and call it a day. The new Tein Basis(they are revised Basic) seem to be a good value, which will cost less than getting lowering springs and matching shocks. If your looking to spend more there's plenty. I myself went with B&G.
