does offset mean how deep a lip is on the wheel and how far off where the bolts bolt up to the hub and if it bolts up too far towards the outside the wheel will hit the shock right???? just a guess

 

how tucked or pushed out the wheel is.

im running a 35 offset, that means im pretty close to beig lined up with the body line. stock tc wheels have a 45 offset which are much more tucked than mine

last nite i tried to look for it on the back of the wheels for the offset and the dimensions like its suppose to but it only showed me the bolt pattern. So i dont really know the spec's for it.

Those wheels are nice man, just put the tire spec right. It has good lip, match your car's color and you're not yet lowered right so you wouldnt have issues with rubbing. If you know the name of those rims and where you get them it should help you get the specs

I can pretty much guarantee rubbing...

I run 235/40/18 with 35mm offset wheel, rub on all 4s with a full house and H-Techs.

Im thinking about changing my tire size too, not sure which size to go to completely get rid of rubbing.

 

Well my car isnt lowered so i dont have to worry bout rubbing cuz right now i have them on and no rubbing wutsoever but when i do lower im pretty sure it will.

 

ooo i just found my rims are panther's EMR 429 the offset is either +35 or +45

:double post on accident:

 

bugh, don't listen to these guys telling you to go with a 225, stick with your 245's, IF you do decide to go lower and begin rubbing add 10mm spacers all around and roll your fenders. Your car would look insanely good after that.

 

again depends on yr rim sizes, tire sizes, offset and drop
