need help in purchasing 18's...
im about ready to buy some 18's for my Tc. i just need some clarification on the offset and the bolt pattern. I am not very familliar with measuring offset but i want to make sure so i get the right wheels.... any help will do
what i want: 18x7.5 / bolt pattern: 5x100/5x4.5 / offset 42
i will most likely be using size 40 tires if i decide to purchase these wheels.
i am also using tein h-techs which give me a drop of 1.9" on the front and 1.5" on the back...
what problems will i come across with these rims?
will these rims fit right without rolling the fenders?
will i have rubbing issues?
what size tires would u recommend with the size of these wheels?
any help will be much appreciated... thanks

that my friend will work just fine.
i am running the same wheel size with the same offset. i am using 215/40's for the tires...so basically the wheel is the same size as stocks. im getting the h-techs installed tomorrow and to answer alll your questions:
1.no problems..however thin tires suck
2.the wheels will fit fine...the fronts are rolled from the factory so no issues, and the rears fit fine..however you may want some spacers like im doing to bring the wheels out a little, they look sunken in.
3.no rubbing issues, unless you hit a dip or take a really fast sharp turn
4.40's
