chrome doesnt look good on a tc.

Just check out the wheel threads on here, you can see plenty of options. Then check out wheel sites for wheels that fit in your price range.

the color is really a secondary concern, first and foremost, make sure to get some rims that look decent in the first place, and are good quality wheels that won't bend or crack easily. cheap rims are cheap for a reason. next, try and figure out the size you want. both sets of wheels i have are 17's. the bigger you go, the more ride quality degrades. also heavier wheels lower just about every performance characteristic of the car, from acceleration and braking, to handling. so keep weight in mind too.

lastly, if you find a wheel in a style and size you like, but not color, you can always get wheels powder coated to whatever you want. alittle expensive, but if you really want it in a certain finish, it is doable.

i have a set of OEM rims powder coated gloss black for the winter months. they look great in person, but being black, they don't show up well in photos or the dark.lately the trend is to paint the rims some super bright color like green or orange or purple so that they are different from everybody who has more common finishes like black, silver or gunmetal and the truly tasteless chrome.

when i saw car rolling with black rims. it is just emptiness. You only can make out what the black rims looks like when the car is stopped.

Think of it this way, rims or wheels are like shoes! You want ur shoes to go well with ur getup rite, so ur car needs nice quality shoe's (rims) as well! I can't tell you wat to get, but i could steer in the rite direction. Keep skimming thru the SL threads an post to get an idea of wat people are matching up with their flint mica's, choosing rims are like anything else, but its fun, another thing, rims good strong rims is wat you want for car, so they don't bend to easy!
