Did you ever pick a color to paint the rims?

I'm painting my wheels black soon. I have a flint mica tC and want to make the car relatively dark so i smoked the tails and I'm going to do the rims. Any advice for a first timer? I bought VHT primer, black and clear coat.

Search, this has been discussed plenty.

BUT, make sure prep work (masking, sanding and cleaning) isn't rushed/shabby otherwise you will not see good results

Thanks I looked around and figured out what I have to do. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Will do. I'm planning on doing them this friday. Its been pretty rainy so I'm waiting for the weather to clear.

I kind of want to do some kind of pin stripes to break up the black but I don't know what color I would do it. I've seen black with red pin stripes and that usually looks good and would go well with my calipers and soon-to-be TRD springs but idk. I'll probably just go with all black.

generally, stockies look better with one single color/finish but I've seen a couple of nice exceptions. I'd say your flint mica would look dope with gunmetal or black unless you wanna go with some crazy flamboyant color, to each his own haha
