Default Need new tires!

Let me start off by saying i know nothing about tires... lol
ive got some aftermarket falkens right now and i love them, except for the fact that i wore them out reallly fast :/ in like 10k miles lol

so i need some new tires, with a harder compound.
i live in california so its always warm
and ive got the stock 215/45/17 tire size

the catch!
they are going to be a gift from someone soo
sears needs to carry the tire (because they are buying it on their sears credit card)
and they cant be to ridiculously priced.. im thinking at or around 120 eachish...

this is what i have now

Thanks in advanced

err too many canyon runs? haha
idk, ive got 26k miles on my tc, and ive been through my stock tires and now the falkens.

i mean theres still tread left, but its below the little wear marks
and no tire shop will let be rotate and balance anymore because there isnt enough tread

i was lookin at the goodyear eagle GT tires.. any thoughts?

Consider a tire with a mileage warranty.

As long as you keep them rotated as recommended Sears should honor it. That being said most tires in that size wont have more than 30K, but since your burning them out in 10K, it should stil be worthwhile.

I would suggest either of the following:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_09541026000P

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_09565022000P

Both are under $140 and have excellent ratings on tirerack.
