I was curious to know what size tire and brand to go with because i brought some MONARCH MESH wheels: Specs are:
Front: 19 X 8.5 +35
Rear: 19 X 9.5 +45
I am also dropped on TRD's
I have been told to go a few different routes just want more input. I dont really want the rim to exposed. The less rubbing the better. And I am putting 5mm spacers in the rear. This is what I have been recommended thus far. Scion gurus chime in please!
1. Front: 225/35/19 Back:235/35/19
2. Front: 225/40/19 Back:245/40/19
3. Front: 215/35/19 Back: 225/35/19
4. Front: 215/35/19 Back: 235/35/19
5. Front: 215/35/19 Back: 245/30/19
I have researched and found that these brands of tires have a good stretch:
1. Fk452's
2. toyo t1's
3.dunlop sp 9000
4. dunlop sp8080e
5. Nankangs
6. Fk512
I was told to look for a tire with a rounded shoulder and a lip protector, they tend to give the "desirable" look.
Any suggestions or recommendations.
Thanks......

FK512s love stretch but are pretty shietty when it comes to tires
FK452s like stretch as well but are more $$ and I've read their sidewalls tend to bubble
Nankangs seem to be super cheap, and enjoy stretch; but I have yet to try them
I don't know about the rest, I've heard Federals also give a considerate amount of stretch. Hope this helped a bit; I'm currently looking for new tires myself

So you think if I go with that option there will be no rubbing? Actually i am deciding between front 215/35/19 rear 225/35/19 and Front: 225/35/19 Rear: 235/35/19 or Front: 215/35/19 and Rear: 235/35/19.....so many decision and I dont want to make a $800 dolla mistake!
well i told you the right tire size but if you go with wider ones you will rub when turning the wheel and hitting dips. friend had them on s-techs and didn't rub, now is lowered on sprints (2.5" F/R) and still no rubbing at all. sure your getting TRDs but if you carry a person in the back, then it will rub with your 235/35/19 tire for the rear.
