Need some offset questions answered.
Im not 100% on how wheel offset works.
Ive been reading the offset means the distance of the mounting surface (where the holes are) to the centerline (middle) of the wheel.
So to my understanding, something with a +35 has the holes being 35 mm in front of the centerline, while a +48 would be 48mm away from the centerline.
If this is true, what is the ideal ranger for any after market wheel? ive read 35 is good while 48 is too much.
And how do wheel spacers tie up into all of this?

the lower the number the more it sticks out whereas the higher the number, the more tucked in it is. I think a good flush is 35 offset with 1*x7.5. but it also depends on ur drop.
meh, 35 offset on a 7.5 is nowhere near flush, especially in the rear. with my current 7.5" wides and my spacers, i have an effective off of +33 in front and +28 in the back, and neither are flush.
little bit in the front, but nothing serious. i only rub on LARGE dips, and never on bumps.
i actually want to take my rear spacers and move them to the front and then buy 25mm's to put in the back.
