New Rims, Opinions on Tires, lugs and caliper
i just got a set of xxr 527 17x8.25 et25 for my Flint Mica.
first i don't wanna rub so i was wondering if i should go with
falken fk 452 215/40/17 or fk 452 215/35/17
the 40 is way cheaper lol
also shouldd i paint my calipers gold and gold lugs.
thanks

215/40 stretch will be more than enough to never rub...just roll the fenders, problem solved.
also, the 452's stretch just fine...they are similar to the 912's. other good tires that many people stretch would be toyo (specifically the Proxy T1R), hankook, nangking, kumho, and falken mainly for their cheap price.
s-techs are not really low enough to get you much rubbing with only 8.25 wide tires...

thats cuz your sidewall is too fat for 9 wide tires so itll be taller. for wider tires you usually want more width and lower sidewall ratio... 17x9 would probably work nicely with 215/40 or even 215/35. add in a bit of camber and itll be fine if you want, or roll the fender...
