New wheels and OEM TPMS
I would like to order a new set of wheels and possibly tires off an on-line site but I need to ensure the TMPS sensors are successfully transferred from the OEM to the new set.
Would it simply be easier to order only the wheels and find the tires locally so that the new set can be installed by a professional. I plan to also upgrade both the suspension and front brakes at the same time.
Thanks.

depends where you order them from. places like tire rack can mount them for you i believe. research the tires you you want online b/c they're normally cheaper. check out discounttire.com and discounttiredirect.com. where are you located? if you're in SoCal check out DRFlickner (sp?) on here he was running a special on Falkens
IF you plan on having the wheels/tire combo sent to you with the sensors already put on expect to pay another $200-$300 for new sensors..otherwise you may want to just buy the wheels and tires seperately and take it to aa shop to have them make the switch for you.
thanks.
tirerack charges around 350.00 for new sensors.
i would like to finalize an order with discounttires.com but
it seems i will need to do so over the phone because i will
not be needing any mounting or balancing.
