I have searched all over forum but still didn't get what i need. Ok here's the question, i have an 06 tC with stock rims (17'' with 215/45/17 tire size) and i want to get a new set of tires and wonder if 235/40/17 will fit on my stock rims? (i want to make the wheels look wider/more aggressive with stock rims, if possible)

Yeah, they will fit but you will have a weird balloon effect going on.

I'm have 225/45/17 on the stock wheels and it's not too bad.
