Default Offset questions?

I know that there are posts for this, but what are the rules so to speak of getting the propper fit when purchasing for the TC. The car currently is at stock height and will be lowered shortly after purchase of wheel. Is a 33 offset out of the quesion.

Size: 18×7.5
Bolt Pattern: 5×100
Offset (ET): 33
Flik, Wasp

Here ya go....

When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 61.1mph (98.4km/h): 1.8% faster.

Suspension: 100% clear (just like OEM)
Fenders: 100% clear (just like OEM)
Wheelwells: Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 6 mm. Acceptable for most cars.

This is with stock ride height.

Bumpage rather than a new thread: I'm looking at 18-7.5 Enkei Evo 5s, complimented with General Exlaim UHP in 225/40/18. I'm lowered on Hotchkis springs. My two options for offset are 35 and 45, according to the Enkei.com website. I have come to understand all the crazy measurements of wheels and tires- all but the mysterious offset. Using the offset calculator (http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp) I have reached the conclusion that 35 is going to be the way to go.

Can someone confirm my decisions? I'm very excited about this, as this wheel + tire combo is well-priced, of good repute, and actually lighter than stock by a pound or two at each corner. All help is appreciated!

+33 offset should work perfect without rubbing.

I would go with the +35 I don't think you would ever be happy with how +45 would look.

Cool thanks! If I understand this right, 45 would make the wheel look really sunk-back in the wheel well, right? As opposed to flush with the fenders, like I want.
