Default Which offset will work

I am planning on getting some new rims for my SW tc. I was looking into a set of Volk LE28N in Gold. The catalog only offers 3 different offsets for a 18x7.5 wheel. They are +33, +43, +47. I was wondering which of these 3 offsets will be the flushest with the fenders. I am also lowered on Tein SSP and planning to wrap the wheels with a 225/40/18 tire.

My 5Zigens are a +35 offset and they are almost flush. I would have to say that +33 would be the best IMHO.

i had gold le28n in 18x7.5 et33. no rubbing at all. infact i used a 5mm spacer in the rear and still no rubbing. i was dropped 2.5 inches on tein ssp. since your car is white, it'll look just like mine did. there's a guy in norcal with 17" gold le28ns on a super white tc.

there's a guy who has black le28n's in 18x7.5 et47, and they sit in too much.

I've been thinking of getting some 18x7.5 rims myself, but have been hesitating because the offset is +35 and wouldn't know how it would look (i.e., if it's flush, if it will stick out or rub, etc.). I'm kinda new and confused with the offsets. Looks like I'm going to get them now since you guys say the offset should be fine.

None whatsoever. I'm dropped on TRD Springs. You might rub depending on what Springs you get. Here's what a +35 looks like...

Rear

Sittin' on TRD Springs

I hope this helps you out.

^^Yep. Official stats: 18" x 7.5 5-100. My tires are Pirelli PZero Nero M+S 225/40. 4 months and no rub. Great tires by the way. They handle like a pro.

$650 w/o tires. I just like how they are all smooth. Just like the clean lines of the tC.
Here's a link for ya...

The cap is CF, not silver like its pictured. They have gone up since I purchased them almost a year ago.

Does anyone know or have a pic with a 18x8 +42 setup? Was wondering if it will rub with a 2" hotchkis drop.

you'll be fine. the offset will be clear but the diameter of the wheel and the sidewall of the tir eyou get with the drop of the car is more a factor for rubbing than that offset

i dont know why people are so worried about rubbing...

i have 18x7.5 +42 with an h-tech drop, and NO rubbing, NEVER

you will be fine

i plan to go with 18x8.5 +40(F) +30(R(

and i will be lowered about 2.5 inches all around. am i worried about rubbinh, ehhh somewhat, but not really. you hardly ever rub on 18's, unless they are WIDE.

Well, im not really knowledgeable about offsets. Before, i always thought you can put in any size wheel on a car just as long as it's not too wide for it to stick out. Some look flush and some look tucked, i just don't know if the offset has anything to do with that. I just dont want to have the wheels be sticking out and looking stupid, you know. I'll be running 225/40/18 if i do happen to get wheels.

Well, I know with a 7.5 inch width with a 42 offset will sit in more than enough to work without rubbing. I was wondering how far I can push the rim out before it rubs. I am not going to pay for aftermarket rim and have it sit in, I would rather stick with the stock for that matter.
