paint stripper on rim
Possibly. If its a lacquer just use some paint thinner and a rag. It should wipe off, but I dont think there is a need to take the paint off. You can paint over what you have down already unless it is Rustoleum. Ive had bad luck with painting over that sometimes.
i painted them black first which came out fine but i used that rustoleum and it just turned out bad. its flaky and the paint is coming off.
and for trading rims, i doubt you would want to when you see it, plus i just did it on 1 rim.
thanks for info

what kind of "paint stripper" are you talking about?
There's the wheel type you put in a drill, and the chemical type you brush on...
Either could damage the finish, it simply depends on the specific product and how it's done.
