Painted stockies question

I really wanna paint my stockies, but i have quiet a bit of curbage on them, does this need to be fixed/buy new stockies? what are my options?

well honestly my way of fixing curbage is by painting the wheels, you sand down the "lips" till they're nice and smooth, then paint them. and BAM no more curbage :D

If your rim is very badly curbed you should look into getting it professionally refinished. For example, these people: http://www.wheelcollision.com/wccsvcs.html will weld in any low spots and re polish the whole wheel.

stop hitting curbs.....is number one....

but other than that....get them refinished....might be a good idea to do that b4 you paint them

sanding is good enough, if you asked me. and if you don't mind the looks of painting over it.

yeah i wish it was that easy. unfortunately im way too easily swayed into letting people (like my mom) drive my car. seems like shes unable to park without curbing my wheels and scraping my front lip
