Default Painting Curbed Rims

Alright so I'm planning on painting my rims tomorrow morning and I was wondering
if it was okay to paint a rim that has minor curb rash/scratches.

Or do I have to get them repaired before I do anything to them?

If anyone could share a little info on this, it would really help me out.

Thanks guys.

You don't have to get 'em repaired, but the damage will still be visible...maybe just not as noticable.

the stock rims should be easy to repair, it'll look much better

what color are you planning to paint them, btw?
