Default PLZ HELP!!! I scratch my stock rim!!!

Is there anyway to fix it? I was going to park and drove too close to the curb and OUCH heard this scratching noise. I got out of my car and ...sigh... saw scratches on my rim.

Please let there be hope that there is a way to fix it. Anyway I can fix the scratch myself rather than going to a mechanic?

You might be able to wet sand with emery cloth and then polish. Here is a company that does that sort of work:

I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that they are touch up paints that can work on rims. May want searching the web. I have scratches like crazy after 2 years, but I just deal with it. I did sand them down, so at least they're not dark scratches anymore.

A quick Google search for "Atlanta Wheel Repair" turned up this company, and their site states that they repair alloy wheels. Give them a call!

Edit: Looks like they know what they're doing too, as evidenced by this page.
