Default polished lip problem

i have some polished lip on my rims. i have the ICW Jet black. well the clear coat and the chrome is starting to come off. what i was wondering is if there is a way to a paint or to fix this problem. i was thinking about just sanding the lip down and then repainting it with chrome paint would that work. if anyone can help me with this please let me know.

yeah that could work.. but itll look cheap.. are the rims two piece? if so you can just have them re chrome dipped or call the manufacturer and see if theres a warantee?

well you dont need new rims yet.. the chrome on them is still good just bad in a couple spots.. see if a body shop might be able to do something for you?
