Possible to run a 255/35/18 on 18x9 rear, lowered on s techs?
Okay, so I found a great set of wheels problem is they are already mounted on tires. Fronts are 18x8 mounted on 225/40/18 I know those will work, back are 18x9 mounted on 255/35/18. I am lowered on s techs, and was wondering if these would work without rolling the fenders or anything?
Thanks everyone, I have been searching have not found a for sure answer.

I found someone to roll the fenders for $40 each on craigslist, so would it fit without rub or very minimal rubbing if I got them rolled?
Would a 225/40/18 work on the rears without rubbing as well? I might have to take a loss and try and sell the tires and get new ones. What tire size do you recommend for the rears?

What's killing you is the +30 offset and a 9inch rim. I don't think rolling the quarters would help. Factory your wheels are +45 and a 7inch wide rim. To spare you the math, a 9inch wide wheel with +30 will sit approx 1.6" out from the factory wheel. With 18x8 +35 should fit no problem. Would be close to, if not, flush up front and sunk in a bit in the rear.
What kind of look are you going for?

So 225/40/18 would be fine on the 18x9 though correct? These have 4" rear lip and 2.5" on the front, which i've always loved the look of huge lips.
The wheels are bbs rs reps if it helps, and while I know I can't get this stance with the s techs I have now (probably get raceland coils later on this summer - not for 3 months or so) i'll post a pic of a car that's got a stance going on that I really like.

this car has a pretty aggressive stance, but also wouldn't mind it looking like the one below: the one below doesn't seem to have staggered wheels, but either way the car looks I know i'll be happy with it.
fAnd thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!

If want to staggered and flush, run 18x8" +35 front and 18x9" +40 rear. And yes, you can stretch the 225/40 on a 9" wheel. Some people run the same wheel all around but use spacers in the rear to bring them flush.

I was thinking about that, I just really like the staggered look a whole lot. The huge lip has always appealed to me, plus when I get coilovers in the future I could get the stance that I really want. I appreciate the help, i've decided i'm gonna get them and they should come in 2 weeks or so. I'm gonna just put 225/40s on it so I don't have to worry about rolling my fenders, it will probably cost me the same in the long run anyways. This way I don't have to worry about still rubbing even with rolled fenders, plus i'd rather keep a 40 instead of a 35 in the back I think. I'll be posting pics when everything is all said and done, and once again thanks!!!!
