Default Question about '07 front wheel bearings

Hey all, I'm new here so if this is in the wrong place sorry about that.

I'm inheriting a 2007 tC 1st gen with about 70k miles, and the previous owner (my big brother) is telling me that both front bearing assemblies need replacing.

My question is: has anyone ever swapped one of these things out before? I'm 10k miles past a warranty replacement, and I'd like to do it myself as a get-to-know you operation, but I've heard that this job varies in difficulty from car to car and I'm wondering how complicated the '07 tC might be? Is it worth the $480 to get it done professionally?

Thanks for your help.

Thats a rip off...i just did one the other day, buy the wheel bearing from centric on ebay for about $27 shipped, go take off your wheel hub, take it to a midas or brake/suspension specialists. They charged me $47 to press the old bearing out and press the new one in and just put the hub on and your good to go, now if you want to do both then do the same just order 2 wheel bearings.

So $110-125 with parts and labor. Please dont go to the stealership.
