Default Question about offset

I plan on getting some new rims 18x7.5 they're offered w/35mm & 45mm offsets. Now the question is which offset is not going to rub with or without say a 2" drop?

wraped in a 225/40/18 tire, my 18x7.5's +48mm offset's rub on dips up front. i'm dropped on stech's (2.4" fron, 2.0"). I run 15mm spacers up front and 20mm spacers in the rear (which brings the front offset effectively to +33 and the rear to +2.

all in all, +35

So it would be better to go with the 35mm to aviod rubbing?

with your lesser drop, and a higher offset number in the front (your +35 vs my +33), im pretty sure your not going to rub in the front. the rears arent going to rub either way, so im not concerned about that.

If you want to be completely certain, get the +45's, but note that with that offset, the wheels will look sunk in.

Do you mean the wheels wont be flush to the fender like they would be slightly tucked back behind the fender?

So the 35's would look like your after sticking out & 45's would look more like stock.

Go with the 35 offset. Looks more attractive and will not rub
