r1 racing wheels
not everyone can afford RAYS, 1 klean tc...honestly most of those 'high end' whels are disgusting looking anyway
for what its worth, R1, and such other similiarly priced wheels are just fine

exactly..not EVERYONE can afford those kind of rims..plus if these wheels ran through a pothole that could have bent the rim, what would happen if these expensive rims ran through the same pothole??? maybe it wouldnt bend as much but it will have damage to it that will cost as much as buying a whole new rim to repair it...
my friend recently bent his volk wheels also!
going over a pothole in brooklyn
alotta of these racing rims are too lightweight, even if the are forged, to withstand a good battering from a street (In NYC at least)

I am running the r-1 racing Drifts. They are pretty decent quality rims. They are by no means a set of volks or rays but for the price they arent too bad. I picked a tire with a little more rubber though so I have had no problems
My one complaint is that they are veryy heavy. If you have any plans to be taking the car to the track or anything like that then I would keep looking around
Anyway for the price they arent a bad wheel.

Good wheels don't have to cost a lot. Enkei's are pretty good and the Work Emotion series is pretty affordable.
thats a cliche to think that any wheel that isnt jdm wont bend
my friend has HRE's on his s2000 and those bent on a hard pothole in miami, and those are one of the highest quality wheels around.
unless your rolling on schmidt wheels which are pretty much indestructable, your wheel could get f'd up one way or another.
