Just used a cutting blade on a air grinder. Just took time and got it straight.

Good to know i'm not the only one missing all my liner and lower grill now

Lol my liners shot off the car a couple years ago. Then last year I hit something that took my lower grill off. Along with the middle bottom section of my bumper.

 

I dont have the front section of my wheel liner either though. Is there any harm in not having that front liner in? My dad keeps telling me it is bumper support and I am "risking it" but idk about that.

 

It is a bumper support but it's no big deal. Lol like I said I haven't had mine for years.

 

i ran no engine splash gauge, fender liners, or that styrofoam bar in front of the crash bar and my bumper was fine.

only downside is the engine bay does get dirtier quicker, and i had a bunch of tiny rocks stuck between my headlights and fenders.

 

Same here all that ____ just kept getting in the way. I should take a picture of all my stock parts at my moms. She says I have enough to build another tC haha.

 

Only time i ever had an issue was when i was reversing out of my driveway in the snow, was in a rush and wasnt paying attention, looking over my shoulder, when i turned back around my bumper was flipped up and laying on top of my hood. haha

 

Random people cringe when I pull into a driveway, so much bumper flex ughh. My whole front bumper is held on by zip ties, because all those OEM clips pop out like nothing.

 

Yeah I have my fender liners, splash guard and grills out. Well, I lost the lower grill on the freeway and said ____ it, and took the top out. When I was tucked on my stockies I rubbed holes into my rear fender liners too.
Socal, did you modify your RL's? They look lower than mine.

I have Rokkor's now, but had my Racelands set up the same...

 

Ok Thanks. I have the front on the last thread, guess I can drop it all the way off then? Oh haha When I first first got them I never knew the rears went lower haha... looked pretty funky having the rears alllll the way slammed.

 

^09socal weren't u thinking about going wit C8 coilovers? Or was that someone else

 

yeah, idk why, RL's and rokkors drop waaay lower in the rears than they do in the fronts. i just wish the fronts went as low as rears.

 

If I didnt just blow $1k on rims/ wheels I'm sure I could justify BC's to my fiance... But the RL's will do. I just am trying to figure out how to make them go lower...

 

there was that one dude with the csm on RL's. he was rediculously low on them. perches removed, and bump stops wer near to nothing. i'd be too scared to drive that low tho.
