looks like a little more than cosmetic, looks like its bent a little, but doesnt look bad enough to keep tires from being seated.

eff that if I dropped that much on rims, I wouldn't expect a greasy finger print....let alone a huge ding.

^ It was damaged in shipping, I'm 100% sure. There's a small hole in the box that goes through other piece of cardboard, and the wheel sock that matches up perfectly with the damage on the wheel.

UPS shipped my exhaust with the packaging falling apart. I made the guy wait, opened it front of him...no dammage. Most likely they will deny any dammages.

i would go to UPS and show them when you got the package and take the rim in so they can expect it. I would raise hell at ups. i would say These are custom made, and their is 15 sets only i'd make them pick up for the cost.

God willing the package had insurance

^ Good idea. I'm doing that next time. Last time I processed a claim through for some broken DJ gear they denied the damages. Something about they only "accept responsibility for delivery of the item and are not responsible for the contents." Then it turns into "It was already like that and UPS had no way of knowing". And the dealer replies with "It was in perfect shape when packaged". UGhh... it's a headache. A big part of me wants to save myself the stress and shrug it off and just mount these bad boys and enjoy them. But I'll always look at that dent and sigh in sadness.

Didn't help my case last time this happened. They made it seem as if insurance has no purpose at all. And this is UPS corporate I was fighting with.

If you ever get something and the box is clearly banged up, you should either refuse it or leave it as is. Dont unpack it and bring in the broken stuff and expect them to honor your claim.

Was the outside of the box damaged at all?

Why shrug it off man there brand new. Something BRAND NEW should never be damaged. Even tho it might be some stress id rather go through hell & back to get my ish the way i paid/wanted from the beginning. Id also see if dezod can get you a receipt for all four rims and take that also with you. You can't win if you don't to battle bro

woops, missed this post before. my bad.

put everything back in the box how you got it and file a claim.

you should have inspected them when they first arrived though. Was there a signature required or were they left at the door?

I signed for them. The boxes don't look bad. Just a small hole where the damage came from.

Dezod is setting me up with enkei. Hopefully they will fight the claim for me

I think I'm most aggravated by the fact that I have to wait even longer to get these wheels on my car. I have no patience.

Well King at Enkei is working with me. They're going to send UPS to pick up the damaged wheel and they're going to be sending me a replacement wheel. Bad part is I have to wait for it to come from Japan so that could be a while. Damn! I wanted to be the first to post up the Dezod SBC RPF1s on this thread!

I would be sooo ____ed if mine came like that. I hope they dont! Someone that got the 18x9.5's from the TF gb a little while ago had one come in damaged and he filed a claim with ups and they took the wheel, leaving him with 3. He was trying to sell them, maybe he would just sell one of them and you can bill ups, and keep the damaged one? That way you have a spare. But I doubt ups would pay for the other one and let you keep the damaged one.

rrimportracer, what all was done to the car for it to be sanded down fully? You're painting it the same color?

pwee08- who is this friend you speak of? lol

david616- i removed all dents from the car, had the fenders rolled/pulled and redone to look better, and im painting it a custom color. any time you paint the car must be sanded.. hence the reason why its all sanded down
