^ I never really liked them either but some can pull it off. It actually doesn't look bad on that tC and there is an xB2 that powdercoated them red, not bad. The concave version is a little better.

I prefer the super concave 3 piece blq's. The flat face look awkward.

 

I love the flat face. :shrug:. I wanted the NUE with a flat face but didn't want the 8.5" width that came with it. I think I could pull off a set of 17x8.5 flat faced cast BLQs.

Sure does look like you've got some work to do. Still haven't had any progress on mine, need refinishing but likely won't happen til next year. I can surely throw them on beat up but don't want to ride like that.

205/40's, -3*F/-4*R camber, rolled fenders, and the realization its still gonna rub. What coilovers do you have? Im guessing a big part of it for me was that I went so low especially in the front so I rubbed a lot.
