Req: Aggressive wheel stance pics
^ B&Gs, BC's, and maybe even RL's can get you that low in the rear with a lot of camber. If the coilovers are modded, anyway. When I had that little tuck on the SBC RPF1s I still had another inch of threads left. Our rear suspension is so short.
Ya, the problem with racelands is they are so soft! lol i really need to findasome money and get new coils. I should have scooped James's when i had the chance, really kicking myself for that.
I can't speak for the stance coils, but my coils were trash when I was tucking. Rears were too bouncy even at full stiff. Fronts are great, though. Maybe BCs with nasty rear spring rates could be your next buy.
The problem with soft rear end is not coilovers, its the actual suspension design. I guess Toyota put in short ___ shocks to make up more cargo room. But short shocks just can not rebound like long shocks do, so no matter how stiff your springs rates are, rear end will still be soft. I went through 8, 10 and 14 kg/mm springs on 3 sets of coils, and honestly, they all were pretty much the same. But I know it could be worse, we could have solid axle rear suspension on tc lol
Nice to see people keep this forum alive, as well as this thread. Well, I've run out of budget for random one-off ish so I'm turning my attention to stance.
I'm thinking of getting XXR 535 18x8.75 all around as my first stop, then I have to figure out what to lower on and how much.
Thoughts/Tips?
