yea, those are for the sway bars.
you can take out the rings, but then it will need to be slammed all the way because there will be nothing to lock the spring in place.

yep.
if i remember correctly, i just took out the 2 smaller rings and left the bigger one so the spring had something to rest on.

what about just getting shorter and stiffer springs?

i just ordered my coilovers and got 6in springs instead of 7in springs and i got them stiff(12kg and 10kg)

 

I have B&Gs and I still need stiffer springs. =(

 

hey if your gonna get the enkie's from cory your not gonna need to be that low... trust me... i just lowered mine to perfection and added 5mm spacer's up front cause it will rub on the inside of the wheel well. so if i were you i'd save my money.... i still have alot and i mean ALOT of space to lower my car....
