Just curious on what you guys think of my freshly pained stockers? I know allot of ppl have pained there rims, but I was trying something unique. If the pictures are not clear enough, this is a gloss black with clear coat and baked in a painting booth for 2 hours.

I would like honest feed back. Even if you do not like this, at least tell me why.

 

they came out good, but unique no. there has been plenty of people that have painted them this way. check the painted stock wheel thread.

I've seen people do this but with 2 colors, I've never been a fan.

 

Oh well, I was hoping for something different, but I will accept that they are different to me. Thank you for your honest thoughts.

10gxiong... Thank you for the honest feed back. I guess to each there own. Ironically, it is not something to feel when you first see them, but they do grow on you after awhile. It is kind of like that guy you are best friends with now, but in the beginning, you just rather him go away.

 

What paint did you use? did you clear them?

 

I used 5 coats of PPG of high gloss black and 3 coats of clear.
