Default Rims and tires question

I've done some simple mods to my tc, and am feeling some new shoes and a drop. I've found some rims that are cost friendly, and I believe will look nice, and give me that flush look. I have a general idea on what size, I'm just wondering if they will be too big?

The rims are xxr 522's 18x9.5 the offset i can choose from either +25, or +38. I'm going to put them on Falken Ziex 235/40. Will this give me an issue with rubbing? Also what offset should i go with?

Did you end up picking up the rims? Curious if you heard back from anyone on these?
