Default rims under Warranty??

i was pulling into a parking lot of a supermarket and the tire and rim on the backside of the passenger grinded across an freaking stone island. the island was so far out from the parking bumpers!! so i was wondering if the rims are covered by the warranty if not how much would it be to fix the rims.. its chipped almost around the whole rim bits and pieces..

rims for the most parts are not covered by warranty, especially in your case. That is something you did at your own fault. However, I did receive a new free rim from Hayward Toyota! :D My rim had these weird black dots on the rim. Even the dealers were puzzled! haha check eBay for a pricing of just one rim.

its only covered under the extended warranty if it gets dented due to potholes.....not cause you hit something while smoking pot. Also, to use the extended warranty you need to own if for 30days before you can file a claim with it.

You are definitely not covered undr warranty, however if your deductable is low enough on your insurance (comp or collision), it might help you reduce the cost of a replacement.
