Road noise?
Ive noticed recently when im not bumping my system that there is alot of road noise from my rear wheel wells. I have 18" Zinik wheels with TRD lowering springs and have never driven on the stocks. Is this common for aftermarket rims or is it present with the stocks as well?
I noticed that when I drive with my Flik rims w/Falken Azenis Rt615s on I hear a lot of road noise as well. I also have a set a 5Zigens w/Pirelli PZero Neros and those are really quiet. I don't think (don't quote me on this though
) it has anything to do with the rims but more to do with the tires. Some tires are quiet, others are not. If it bothers you a lot, you could always sound deaden the Hatch.
It's the tires. I've driven with several different tires on the same rims, and road noise is something I tend to notice.
If I remember correctly, some tire dealers even have a noise test rating.
