I'm considering a 225/40/18 tires with Grids that are 18'' x 8.5 e44.

I don't know much about fitment so could you please tell me if that works? I'm trying to purchase wheels/tires tonight.

Yes they will fit. Why not go with 18x9.5 et38? It fits as well and is more aggressive. Just look around in this section for pics.

It's because wheeldude doesn't have the 18x9.5 in gold in stock. I really want gold. I was looking for the Axis Halos, but the gold are also out.

 

yes that the right size tires you should get, you can get wider tires 235 or 245 but you will rub more.. those wheels is gonna look great on the tc

 

you should get the proper size regardless of the color. you can always repaint the wheels (they're rotas. nobody's gonna care if they're repainted). i guarantee you'll end up regretting buying 18x8.5 et44 because it wont fit as well (especially after you post pics and everyone replies they dont fit/look as nice). go for the 18x9.5 et38 and you'll be happier in the long term. go with 235/40/18 for 18x9.5s
