The name Brembo alone doesn't imply better brakes than stock, as they're a huge OEM supplier, and make stock type replacement rotors for most cars too. In other words, just because a person buys Brembo replacement rotors, that doesn't necessarily imply they've upgraded their brakes.

If you looking for a stock sized upgrade, then get slotted/dimpled/drilled rotors, such as the powerslots you asked about, or whatever other brand floats your boat.

I have rotorpros rotors also. Slotted ones for a good price.

Slotted rotors and drilled rotors dont offer any performance upgrades. Slotted rotors act like a cheese grater to the pads, so they will wear them down prematurely. The drilled rotors are made to expell gases which street bads dont tend to emit and would really only be beneficial on the track. They also have a tendency to crack under certain conditions. If I could do it again, I would've gone with plain rotors just b/c the others are more expensive and its purely cosmetic

I have to disagree with you about slotted rotors, as they're not just cosmetic as you stated, they do in fact improve performance. They do it the same way as drilled rotors, by providing a way for the gases to vent. When brake rotors & pads get hot, they produce gases that can produce enough pressure to interfere with the pad to rotor contact, resulting in fade. Slotted rotors provide a path for hose gases to escape, enableing improved pad to rotor contact and preventing fade.

Maybe you just haven't used slotted rotors hard & long enough to realize the improvement they provide over plain rotors.

No, what I was saying came out of an automotive book that I just finished reading. This is not from my personal experiences. I don't put my car on the track, so my pads don't get hot enough to emit any gases. I was basically quoting an expert. You don't have to agree and i'm not going to be argumentative, but this is what i've read from the experts.

Cosmetic vs performance depends entirely on what you're doing with them. Adding to what some people have already said, sure they're a performance upgrade if you actually work them hard enough (ie. on the track) to even get them that hot. Street pads don't outgass the way they used to back in the day, but I think some high end performance pads still do.

From my own perspective, the 'performance' gain I seek is in wet braking. With such an open wheel design, I notice a big difference in stopping ability under extra wet conditions, and a nice set of slotted rotors are pretty near the top of my list of future mods.

Does rotorpros.com offer larger diameter rotors with adapters for the calipers? I did not see an option for larger rotors on their web site

Probably not. (Safety/liability issues perhaps?) Drop Rich an email and find out.

Does it concern you guys that the rotorpro rotors only have the 5 holes for the lugs on the hubs and not those extra holes to get the rotors off the car?
