I use DBA rotors. FAR better than Power Slot. I don't recommend drilled rotors just due to the fact that I have seen them develop stress cracks under high heat conditions.

So nobody has had issues with rotorpro rotors on either quality or removing them w/o those holes?

Drilled rotors will not crack under stress UNLESS you have too many holes drilled in . Holes are fine and are good but , not too many . And , sorry to sound stupid but , please explain something to me . If you put new rotors on , why could you not take them off ? Stupid question I guess but , that sounds about as stupid as I have ever heard . I went through 12 sets of rotors , differing brands on my Hondas . WTF are you guys talking about ? Talk about confusing . Uh ...you can put them on BUT , you cannot take them off ? Holy crap
I want to see those . And I have used the ones you are speaking of . Not on this car though . Guess what . They came off when I replaced them . So , PLEASE explain how you can put ON a rotor but , you cannot REMOVE the rotor as I have never seen this .

What are you talking about if you don't mind my being so blunt?

If you are refering to what I said, I am talking about holes that should be drilled into rotors on the hub to allow for them to come off easily. It is fine and dandy to maul them with a hammer until you loosen them up, but chances are that you are not resurfacing them, just replacing them. Rotorpro rotors do not have these holes to help the rotors pop off, the stock rotors do have them.

What are you talking about though?? Who is saying that you can put rotors on but not take them off? That does sound like the most ignorantly retarded comment I've ever heard of.....please clarify.

Firstly , thank you for clarifying . You mean two pieces as opposed to Rotorpros 1 piece . That is what I wanted to know . Secondly , you are rude as Hell . Glad to see you think I am retarded . I just learned not to pay any more attention to anything you write . Again though , thank you for clarifying . It is all I wanted to know .

Who is rude?

I said the following:

This is not meant to be rude, I can understand how you took it that way however. With text, it is hard to understand how people say things. I was saying that the way it came out was 'ignorantly retarded', but I obviously am not understanding. I know you would not say something like that, that's why I asked you to clarify. I didn't mean to insult you buddy, sorry if it came out that way and that you took it that way, but careful not to be the pot calling the kettle black; unless of course I mistook your comments the same way you mistook mine :D

well back to the point, I don't believe Spect2k3 is talking about two part rotors, I believe he is talking about the threaded holes in the hub of many rotors that you can turn a bolt into, but there's no hole in the hub on the car, so what it does is essentially push the rotor off of the car. Anyone who has changed brakes knows that brake parts sometimes get rusted on pretty tight and sometimes require a good angry beating with a hammer to make things come loose. Of course, a wooden mallet would be preferable, but the bolt holes offer a much better solution than beating on your rotors with anything.

DBA has some nice temp marks on the outer edge as well on their 4000 series Pollup. That way you can actually see how hot they are getting. There are three stripes and as you reach certain temps they turn white. Pretty handy if you don't have one of those laser temp checkers.
