ur not rubbing sciondriver...that sound u think is rubbing is actually your front end scraping...any lowered car is gonna get that, especially in cali. There will be no rubbing, just scraping of the front end if you have any lip or body kit

nope you should be good. hotchkis is pretty conservative (comparable to h-tech i think) so you should be fine.

based on the "does it fit list", he can expect minimal rubbing. i'm getting the same exact wheel and tire size, and i have h-techs. i'm hoping it doesn't rub at all, but we'll see.

The only time you should rub would be on fully locked turns. My friend has DF210's and 18x8.5 ET35 wheels and he only rubs on U-turns. Other than that, no rubbing.

I have the same set up (hotchkis drop on 18x8 with 225/40/1 and i rub only on dips and some speed bumps depending on how fast im going. Your friend should be fine. the only rubbing is the plastic lining under the fender which should fix itself in time.

I have the same set up as well. I rub on bumps, dips, and hard turns.

I dont care though, the look and feel is 100% worth it.
